Brasil's Bento Goncalves Wine City As I Saw It In June, 2012 : Cheers! NEW & RECENT UPDATES & DEVELOPMENTS For BRALVIN As I Understand Them - READ ON ...

It was a
It was so foggy in these early moments in the wine town of Bento Goncalves! I loved it, I knew that it would lift and that the sunshine would come through at some point as Laurent and I headed out to visit the wineries around this magnificent town clinging to the sides of these mountains way, way above sea level ...
This was waking up in the morning in our hotel at the Vittoria Dall'Onder in bento Goncalves and getting ready to start another day of visiting the wineries there in the Vale Dos Vinhedos as well as in Caxias Do Sul.
I definitely had my morning routine and I had to get a whole lot accomplished in a short period of time becasue I never knew exactly what to expect from Laurent Donchegay each morning. I also never quite knew how much time I had so I tried to get immediately into the right miondset so as to be able to accomplish anything, and to do that quickly and flawlessly! It was fun and a challenge and I embraced it all wholeheartedly!
great 10-day trip for me and it has changed my life forever! Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn

Life has twists and turns and I am starting to pick up some of the pieces that I have been dealt with Bralvin Imports of Fine Brazilian Wines to the United States. Laurent Donchegay and I have run into some obstacles and so things are " on hold " now for us and this greatly saddens and maddens me and yet I must look forward and to the future and do what I can best which is to continue to promote the wines and the people, the places and the moments that I have enjoyed so thoroughly since late June, 2012 : with some of the early morning pictures shown here.

NOTHING is ever a complete waste : EFFORT well-spent always remains that and it breeds more good-will and more notice and attention, curiosity and desire on the part of others to look closer. I am thrilled for this. While I continue myself to " pick up the pieces " I will continue actively to promote the wines of Brasil, the people, the place, the moments completely and with enthusiasm, conviction and dedication. I LOVE my experiences and want to move forward even with this adversity.

PLEASE join me, stay with me, continue to keep all channels of dialogue open to us , and let's see where we can continue from now to go together here with sales of your wines , and your country's wine, here in the United States.

I AM AT YOUR DISPOSAl as a consultant and a friend and a firm-believer in the wines of Brasil to move along and forward at this most appropriate time.

I WILL ALSO BE LEARNING NOW Portuguese, the Portuguese that Brasilians speak. Cheers and stay-tuned here and at the Facebook Bralvin site for new and exciting developments.

CHEERS and sorry for these difficult developments recently that have been beyond my control. I am not the money man : but the man of inspiration, dedication, belief, warmth, sincerity, desire, fire and with a thorough professional wine-knowledge and savvy to bring and utilize to maximum efficiency in this wild and grand and wonderful Brasilian wine adventure. Cheers,  Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn   contact me at : tonythewineguy@gmail.com to move forward. I want to hear from all of you, I await your emails.

LET'S WORK NOW well and speedily together to move forward.  Take care, obregado,  TONY

I Want To Help You Promote Your / The Wines Of Brasil In 2013! Let's ALL Work Together : The Timing Will Never Be Better If We Start NOW!!

I want to help Brazilians promote their wines here in the United States. I have visited Brazil last year for ten glorious days in late June, 2012 and spent all of my time virtually tasting the wines, meeting the owners and the wine-makers, visiting the wineries and touring, driving through the wine regions of Brazil like the famous Vale Dos Vinhedos that is represented here through these photos that I took driving along on the way to a wine-tasting/meeting. It was the first I believe and it was foggy and cool and beautiful on this morning in June, 2012 around 10 AM I believe?
I have worked in the wine business now for over 30 years here in the United States, spending most of my time in our nation's capitol, Washington D.C. I am currently the wine manager at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 Tel:202-363-4265 tonythewineguy@gmail.com, also : anthony.quinn@clevelandparkwines.com ), having done this now for the last 13 years.
You can see a lot of what I have done by going to : chatwine.blogspot.com and visit that site as well as all my other blog sites that are listed under : View Complete Profile. Check some of them out to get a better sense of what I have done and am still actively doing. It will give you a broad impression of many of the people and wines that I have come in contact with personally over these many years.
I am a people person and really love wine, food, culture, people, art, music, dance, writing, acting, ... and bringing people together whenever and wherever I can. I see any meeting by chance or on purpose and a great opportunity and I seize it and try and make the very most of it. It is so important to me to find the meaningful bonds that can make business and pleasure so meaningful and successful.
If you are interested in talking further please do contact me at : tonythewineguy@gmail.com. Do it in Portuguese. I am learning Portuguese as I love the language and the music. It will take me a bit of time but I am devoted 120% to making this all come true and a reality. I loved my trip to Brazil this past late June, 2012. It was one of those moments in my life that has changed it forever for the better.
I grew up for six of my young years in Brazil ( from the ages of 2-8 years-of-age ) when I lived there with my family. My father Harry Quinn worked for the American Embassy through the United States State Department. It was his second post : his first was the Azores Islands. We lived in Rio De Janeiro while it was still the capitol and then moved to Brazilia when it became the capitol ( from the years 1955-1963 ). This was a very important time in my life and it has shaped it constantly ever since as the experiences I had there were so profound and meaningful to me. Let's talk through email now and see how we can get your wines here to the United States. I would like that very much and I feel that I am in a great position to help you do this. The timing could not be better. This is it : time to act quickly, intelligently and successfully! Let's do this together. Cheers, Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn tonythewineguy@gmail.com
