      Brasil : ten days, ten nights : BRILLIANT : back in late June 2012 : a balmy winter that I thoroughly enjoyed . I want to go back soon. Hire me to help you promote your wines and let's work as a group - as a team to get your fabulous wines here into the United States!

     LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE for the FABulous wines of Brasil : I know you want to, I know you want it. There should be no blurred lines about any of this : our objectives, where we want to go, where to start and where to continue as it will always be a " glorious work in progress! "

     THE TIME is now! We don't have any more time. We all need to turn the heat up, to give a BIG " SHOUT OUT " for all these glorious wines of Brasil and their owners and winemakers, too.

     BRASIL has come a really long way : it's obvious all the concerted, focused, dedicated work and individuals that are making such leaps and bounds with their vineyards and their vines.

     I CAN SEE / TASTE this, I DID, during my ten days and ten nights in Brasil! I want to do more.

Obregado Wines of Brasil : I mean every word of this, I am here to stay and will continue daily and weekly to communicate with current information as well as that from my ten days in Brasil that have inspired me so and given me a clearer vision, purpose and desire to promote to everyone the excellent quality of Brazilian wines : something I saw very clearly then and which everyone needs to start believing in as much as I do : and I am not even Brazilian, though I did spend six glorious years of my life, from ages 2-8 years of my life in first Rio and then Brazilia when it became the capitol of Brasil way back in 1960 was it?!? Drinking Dry Red Trentino, Italy 100% Lagrein From The AZIENDA AGRICOLA BALTER, Wednesday, August 28th, 2013 @ Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits Then @ Home In Northern Virginia! Wow, What a Fine Treat!

Enjoyed Yesterday At 1st With Wine Rep Mark Congdon Of J.W. Sieg & Michel Dumas Some 2011 100% Lagrein Red From The AZIENDA AGRICOLA BALTER, Then Later @ Home With My Wife Here In Northern Virginia! A Treat!!

Drank some great dry Lagrein red last night from the Azienda Agricola Balter, the 2011, 12.5% alcohol by volume : it's a cousin of the Malbec grape they say, from Rovere, Trentino : that's softer, rounder, richer, mellower, more fruit-forward and smooth than most, this one more drinkable on it's own than most. This weekend you get a chance to try it here in the store. I will include that info shortly. Love this dry red, went great with the Pesto Tirtellini that my wife fixed us last night for dinner with our Parmesan cheese, too! Let's ALL Help Promote The FINE WINES Of BRASIL : You Know You Want It, You Know You Want To! Cheers!!

IN THINKING OF BRASIL and my 10 days there late last June 2012 I came away with many stories and great experiences. I am still working in my way to promote the wines here and would love to hear more from you. Please write here in Portuguese and share any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, wants and desires that you may have as both Brazilians and people living here in the United States see this page. We need to alert the Brazilian community here in the United States of what I / we are attempting to do.

I RECOMMEND that ALL BRAZILIANS try their wines while here. Go to your local stores here and ask them to call both the Country Vintners in Ashland, Virginia ( by Richmond, ask for the CASA VALDUGA ), and also Winebow Imports ( ask for the LIDIO CARRARO wines ) and ask for the wines : ask Southern Imports for the wines of MIOLO that they are supposed to have, as well as those of DON GUERINO.

" Doing Thai " Eladio said to me. " Not going to be fancy, a friend of a friend ... " he continues. Eladio said : " Around twenty." Eladio answered when I asked him what he wanted to spend. I already knew that with " a friend of a friend " that it had to be more about tasty and flavorful to match the flavors of the Thai food. I sold Eladio a bottle of our 2007 Merlot from the CASA VALDUGA winery in the Valle Dos Vinhedos, $19.99 just south of the wine capitol of Bento Goncalves. I told him that it was flavorful and dry like a good bottle of French Bordeaux or even an Italian Friuli or Veneto dry red, as the ancestors of CASA VALDUGA are either from Trentino or Veneto, Italy.
